Srinagar, Dec 7 :Traffic was resumed on Saturday on Bandipora to Gurez, a border town surrounded by Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK) in north Kashmir after remaining suspended since November 6 due to heavy snowfall. Meanwhile, other roads leading to far-flung and remote villages near the Line of Control (LoC), including Kupwara-Machil, Kupwara-Keran and Kupwara-Karnah also remained open for traffic. ''We allowed traffic on Bandipora-Gurez road on Saturday after snow clearance operation and necessary work of road were completed on Friday'', a traffic police official said. |
