JAMMU, Dec 7: JKUT Malariologist, J&K today organized one day reorientation training programme for the Medical Officers of District Jammu and Samba at Directorate of Health Services, Jammu.
The programme was inaugurated by the Director Health Services, Jammu Dr. Renu Sharma in presence of Deputy Director (Schemes) Dr. Syed Tasneema Banoo and State Malariologist J&K Dr. L. D Bhagat.
Speaking on the occasion, The Director Health Services, Jammu impressed upon the Medical Officers to work with dedication in eliminating the vector borne diseases especially malaria and dengue. She also advised to organize such trainings on regular basis to update the knowledge of the Medical Officers working in the field. In total 25 Medical Officers from Jammu and Samba were given training by Deputy Director (Schemes) Dr. Syed Tasneema Banoo, State Malariologist, J&K Dr. L. D Bhagat, Associate Professor, Department of Community Medicine, GMC, Jammu Dr. Rakesh Bahl, Consultant Paediatrician, SDH, Basohli, Kathua Dr. Pankaj Gupta, and I/C ANMT School, Ramban Dr. Vinod Sharma. |
