Irked by the frequent power cuts, the people have started taking to streets to protest against the power shortage. The situation in un-metered and remote villages of Kupwara, Langate, Handwara, Kralpora, Trehgam, Hayhama and valley Lolab is no different.
Many remote villages, including Badkoot, Rajpora, kalmoona, Hafrada, Rangward, Marseri and Budnambal are facing acute power shortage.
