| Plogging run organized in Ramnagar | | | | Jammu, Dec 7: NCC units of 2 J&K Boys Bn. NCC at GDC Ramnagar and GHSS Ramnagar jointly organized Plogging run as part of the Swachhta Pakhwada being observed from 1st to 15th of December. The run was flagged off by the Incahrge Principal, GDC Ramnagar. The said run started at GDC Ramnagar and culminated at Mini park Ramnagar after passing through various areas of the main market. As part of the run, SD and JD cadets of both the institutions collected the plastic and other waste along the route and dumped the same at the large dustbins provided by the Municipal Committee at various locations. Prof. Ajaz Nazir, I/c Principal GDC Ramnagar and Kiran Devi, Principal GHSS Ramnagar appreciated the noble work being done by the NCC cadets and stressed on the need to organize more of such joint drives. The drive was conducted under the active supervision and guidance of Asst. Prof. Aditya Sharma and Pawan Kumar, NCC-Coordinators of GDC Ramnagar and GHSS Ramnagar respectively. |
