J&K youth become torch bearers

More than 400 recruits from Jammu & Kashmir were inducted in the Indian Army last week. The young soldiers underwent rigourous training for one year before being formally inducted into the Army. This was the second batch of recruits from J&K to be inducted in the Army post August 5 when J&K was reorganized.
During the past few years, youth from both Jammu & Kashmir regions are coming forward to join the Indian Army in large numbers. This has dealt a severe blow to people sitting across the Line of Control and their agents in Kashmir. Hundreds of young boys and girls have been taking part in the recruitment rallies of the security forces especially in Kashmir. This has punctured the claims of the secessionist elements that people in Kashmir support them and their so-called Azadi movement. These elements during the past three decades have made every possible attempt to radicalize the youth and motivate them to pick up the guns. Despite facing all the odds youth in Jammu & Kashmir have stood up and joined the Armed Forces with only one purpose that they want to serve the country and foil the nefarious designs of the enemy.
The increasing number of youth joining the Armed Forces has left the separatists red-faced. These Pak stooges during all these years have made desperate attempts to tell the people that they should stay away from the security forces but they have always got a befitting reply. Number of J&K youth swelling in Indian Army is a warning to Pakistan that if it doesn't mend its ways then the days not far when the soldiers from J&K will lead from the front to liberate Pakistan occupied Kashmir which is under illegal control of Pakistan.
J&K youth who have joined the security forces during the past few years have been actively involved in the counter insurgency operations and have broken the back of Pak-sponsored terrorism in Jammu & Kashmir. The J&K youth have been inspired by their seniors to join the security forces. They have seen how the boys from their areas have grown after joining the Armed Forces. The change on the ground is visible. Kashmiri youth have realized that their future lies with India. Pakistan and Azadi are just illusions which were created by the people with the vested interests. Situation has changed as people of Kashmir have rejected the very idea of separatism and Pakistan.
