"Spoiling youth potential"
Abhishek Jandial12/9/2019 10:04:12 PM
Every day newspapers' headlines reads that Indian Politicians are trying really hard to get the credit of abrogation of Article 370.Ofcoarse they deserve its credit and I'm not denying that.Simultaneously they also deserve the credit for enormously grown Unemployment among well qualified youth of Jammu and Kashmir.Everyone is now believing that there is no benifit of that much qualification when an illiterate Street vendors earn much more than the engineering graduates. What kind of message is the government giving to the country? Why not taking the credit for this thing as well?
There is a quote-ONLY WISE ACKNOWLEDGE THEIR FAILURES, OTHERS DON'T. But our government seems not to accept its drastic failure in providing jobs to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. They are loving to hide their failure under the blanket of Global Slowdown. There is a dip in Demand in the Indian economy, which is happening as a result of Unemployment this govt has created. Unemployment rates have been soaring like never before. "If the Government is not willing to take the responsibility of its failure in employment creation, then I doubt whether it would mend it or not."
In every government Offices of the country, the newly recruited Multiple tasking services' staff (lowest in heirarchy) are not less than Graduates and postgraduates and majority of them were toppers of their schools and colleges. After years of sitting in library from the dawn to dusk, Competitive students are hit badly by Stress and Depression and at last accept their fate to get Under-employed. Take a while to introspect, the authorities have made fun of the education system. Our postgraduates are bound to serve tea in office for the sake of employment and job security. Though they are lucky than others who failed to get absorb anywhere.
"JUSTICE DELAYED IS JUSTICE DENIED". The recruitment in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir has not been happening for a long time. Educated youth is demanding their JUSTICE-Right to Employment. Their age is continuously rising, awaiting the government vacancies. Can you make it wait until you do proper recruitment? If you really can, then only it's fine.
Corporate employers say that majority of the Engineers of the country are not worthy of doing technical job. Completely agree and it's a universal truth.Credit for this again goes to the Government. That is the reason why our fresher engineers are more employed in call centres. The technical education our colleges are giving is obsolete.
When unable to find technical job, the engineering graduates, who are good in studies, left with no other choice rather than to prepare for competitive exams. In erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir state, no proper recruitment has been happening properly on large scale.
This makes educated youth highly vulnerable to anti-national, anti-social and other such activities. If the government doesn't employee these young minds, they may either take wrong paths or leave India for a better living. In both of the scenarios, there would happen Spoilation of the much debated youth Power of India,on whose shoulders, the responsibility of country's future lies upon.
Look what a huge mess our authorities have created here. There happens only form filling and revenue making but no exam conducting. I would like to cite numberless examples before you. JK EXCISE guard, Secretariat, JK High court recruitment, JK BOARD and This list continuously getting bigger and bigger.
Postponement of the government exams has become very common practice.
Not a single developed country managed to carve its name into the list of developed countries, without giving updated, practical and more relevant education to its students. When we look here, yet many students are getting more marks in the practicals of their board classes by references and contacts. No one is interested to acknowledge this thing of our education system.
Worst is the plight of academic bright students, who once had scored positions in their board exams. Now everyone is laughing on them. They are not able of attending family functions, fearing, someone might ask them what they are doing. They don't know how to tell everyone that after so much of Hard-work,they failed to get placed. Its Credit goes to our politicians too.
Why don't the authorities create Indian Education Services, like IAS, IPS, IRS and bring it under UPSC? I strongly believe they can mend the wrongs of our ineffecient education. If the Elite class design our education system, then there may come a reform in India's education section, which has become a dire need of hour.
Every year, lacs of graduates are coming out of colleges, only to find disappointment, if not compromised to be Under-employed. Whatever it take, the government must take necessary action, unless it is too late, to empower our youth Power.
It's the story of every House of Jammu and Kashmir where you would find a jobless youth eyeing upon job. Promises of Job giving, indeed, comes off and on but job is not found anywhere. No one can make India a developed nation without developing the careers of its youth.
