New political set ups are emerging in J&K UT
Ravi Bhushan Suri12/9/2019 10:04:31 PM
Stunning inputs and the hints are coming from the valley that the Kashmir Centric political leaders have already made the exercise for their consolidations for coming into power in the J&K UT minus Abdullahs and Muftis. Many a speculations are there in the political field in the valley that the new political Set Ups are likely to emerge on the UT polity. According to the Political Analysts and the experts, four political Sets Ups are on the cards which are given here as under:-
1. First Political Set Up
Many a ousted and disgruntled political leaders of the PDP and many others from the National Conference may float a Political Set UP before the J&K Legislative Assembly elections in the J&K UT.
2. Second Political Set Up
Another Political Set Up in the J&K UT is on the cards comprising of Sajad Ghani Lone's party and the BJP may come out before the J&K Legislative Assembly elections in the J&K UT.
3. Third Political Set Up
The Third Political Set Up in the J&K UT comprising of the Engineer Rashid and Shah Faisal IAS turned politician may be formed for contesting the next J&K Legislative Assembly elections and
4. Fourth Political Set Up
Though bleak chances are there, National Conference and PDP may join together against PM Modi's government at the Centre and would motivate the people of the J&K UT for demanding the restoration of the special status to J&K once again and are likely to contest the next J&K Legislative Assembly elections as the partners for gaining the power in the J&K UT by hook or crook. All the above Political Set Ups are on the cards to counter the BJP government at the Centre.
Gone are the days when Abdullahs and Muftis were ruling the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir since decades. They were exploiting the sentiments of the people of the state merely for their vested interests and the political ambitions under the garb of the special status to J&K guaranteed earlier under the Articles 370 and 35A of the Indian Constitution. Actually, they were the people who brought the erstwhile J&K state to this volcanic stage while remaining in power in the state for the years together from time to time. In the year 1987, the Muslim United Front (MUF) had fought the J&K Legislative Assembly elections and there were many apprehensions that MUF could win the said elections. Frightened with their massive popularity in the field, they were totally sidelined the leaders of the MUF and the National Conference had won the J&K Legislative Assembly elections and Dr. Farooq Abdullah came into power in the state after putting the majority of the leaders of the Muslim United Front (MUF) inside the various jails in the state.
Then only the dreadful militancy in the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir was erupted thereby tarnishing the image of the HEAVEN on this earth and throughout it remained on the heights and in 1990 with the break down of the government machinery the Governor's Rule in the J&K was imposed by the Union Government and Governor Jagmohan took over the reigns of the government in the state. From 1990 to 1996, J&K remained under the Governor's and President Rule.
By winning the J&K Legislative Assembly elections, Dr.Farooq Abdullah came into power in the state once again. Everybody in the country knows well as to what happened after rigging the elections in1987. Since 1975, the state never remained stable throughout because of which we lost the precious lives of the civilian innocents and the men of the security forces and the Army. After 2015, BJP and PDP ruled the state and due to their infighting, the witnessed the Jungle Raj in the state.
With the abrogation of the Article370 and 35A of the Indian Constitution by an act of the Indian Parliament by a massive majority and 125 days are already over, the are passing their lives with discomforts. At the same time, the Union Government has adopted the policy of releasing the arrested political leaders against the furnishing of the Bond on Oath that, if released, they will not make anything which is against the Indian interests and they shall remain within the ambit of the Indian Constitution. The Union Government is having the apprehensions that these leaders would disturb the normalcy(which is again coming on the rails, after their release unconditionally) Many a speculations are there that a no. of Political Set Ups are on the cards(minus Abdullahs and Muftis) who would mobilize the public opinion in their favour thereby keeping the overall development of the J&K UT in the days to come. Since the PDP these days is almost defunct political organization as many of its leaders have left the party on their own or have been ousted by its high command led by the former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti.
Needless to mention here that all the front liners of the Hurriayat Amalgamation and the Separatists are in the jails and are facing the serious charges against them, They have been booked by the ED and NIA and the trial against are sub judice in the various court fora in the state and the country as well. Solid cases stand made by the ED and NIA against them and there appears no chances of for getting the freedom from the jails.
The two Political Set Ups(First and Second) as discussed above in the preceding lines are having the great scope for coming into power in the J&K UT. Syed Altaf Bhukhari and Sajad Ghani Lone are having the bright chances on this score. When one makes an indepth analysis of the events occurred after the abrogation of the Article370 and 35A of the Indian Constitution by an act of the Indian Parliament by a massive majority on August 5 thereby bifurcating the J&K state into two UTs - J&K and Ladhakh, comes to this conclusion that the Prime Minster of the country Narender Modi had termed Sajad Ghani Loneas his younger brother many a times in the past and was taken as the Cabinet Minster from the BJP quota in Mehbooba's cabinet in 2016. Thus Sajad Ghani Lone has the bright chances for heading the next political government in the J&K UT with the support of the BJP.
PDP and the National Conference have three MPs each in the Lok Sabha assuch they may be able to raise their voices and the issues pertaining to the J&K UT in the Lok Sabha vigorously and would mobilize the support of the other political parties in the country especially of the INC in their favour. There is every likely hood that they may knock the doors of the Shiv Sena ( Bal Thakre) which has very recently took the reigns of Maharashtra thereby rejecting the BJP on all the political fronts.
Ghulam Nabi Azad and Malik Arjun Kharge the leaders of the opposition in the Rajya Sabha and the Lok Sabha are already much noises and the protests in both the houses of the Indian Parliament these days in highlighting the law and order situation in the valley and are demanding for the restoration of the democratic rights of the people of the J&K UT as also for the release of the detained political leaders after August 4 soon.
5th August,2019 shall always be remembered in the political history of the country when the Articles 370 and 35A of the Indian Constitution have been scrapped in the Indian Parliament once for all by the Union Government led by the dynamic Prime Minister Narender Modi. The people of the country shall always be indebted to PM Narender Modi for all the times to come. By getting the massive mandate from the countrymen in the Lok Sabha Polls this time PM Narender Modi had already made the history and the made the in roots in the minds of the countrymen because of his great actions and deeds. We are really proud of him and keep our heads down before him. At the same time, it is very important to mention here that the countrymen will not forget the contributions made the last Maharaja Hari Singh Ji of the Dogra Kingdom founded by great state of Jammu and Kashmir by Maharaja Gulab Singh after purchasing the state from the Maharaja Ranjit Singh of Punjab against the payment of Rupees 75 Lakhs.
It was Maharaja Hari Singh Ji who made the Accession of Jammu and Kashmir to Union of India on October 26, 1947 after having signed the Instrument of Accession(IOA) which was accepted by the Vice Roy General Lord Mountbatten of the United Kingdom. The citizens of the country shall always remember the services rendered by the founder of the Jana Sangh Dr. Shayma Prashad Mukherjee who made the history by entering the state of Jammu and Kashmir thereby breaking the route permit system which was in place at that time under the regime of Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah as the Prime Minister of the state. The present dynamic Prime Minister of the country Narender Modi has done the GOODBYE to the Articles 370 and 35 A of the Indian Constitution once for all. With the abrogation of the Articles 370 and 35 A of the Indian Constitution and now really the country has become as the one nation with the philosophy of EK NISHAN, EK VIDHAN, EK PRADHAN. Prior to the abrogation of the Articles 370 and 35 A of the Indian Constitution done by the Indian Parliament on 5th August,2019, there were two Constitutions were existing one in Jammu and Kashmir and the other one was the Indian Constitution. Besides the TRICOLOUR, the state of Jammu and Kashmir was having its own Flag also and the people of the state were enjoying the double citizenship in the country.
