udhampur, Dec 9: Displaying utter shamelessness, few officials of revenue department are running from pillar to post, some even trying it hard to get their transfer orders change as they want to remain at the places where they were already posted for these being 'prize postings.'
It is pertinent to mention here that hardly a week back 75 Patwaris were transferred by the DC Udhampur after getting approval of Financial Commissioner of revenue
Sources informed that all the 75 transfers were made on merits taking into account previous performances and many revenue officials have even joined their new places of posting.
"A handful of Partwaris are running from pillar to post as they want to join some prize postings because they have tasted blood and have become habitual corrupts even they delayed to handover the charged to another officials who come their post - sources maintained
When contacted DC Udhampur, Piyush Singla said that all was done on merit keeping in mind the performance of Patwaris to the question of altering the transfer orders does not arise.
