Early Times Report
rajouri, Dec 9: The education of students of Government Girls High School Sundergali of Education Zone Mogla is getting adversely affected as out of total strength of 16 teaching staff, 10 teachers have been running attached in Jammu and Rajouri districts.
Sources told Early Times that the only six teachers have been discharging their duty in the school, making difficult to take all classes due to shortage of staff. "Although school has 16 teachers but 10 teachers have been attached and their salaries are being withdrawn by them from this school," they said.
Recently, a delegation of Panchayats representatives visited the school to take note of the complaint, which was led by BDC Chairman from Sunderbani Arun Sharma and BDC Chairman Mogla block Surekha Kotwal along with sarpanches and panches visited the school to know the ground reality.
"We were shocked to know that despite having full sanctioned strength of 16 teachers, only 6 are presently working and rest 10 have been attached in different districts due to which the study of students have been getting affected," said Arun Sharma.
He further said that there was clear order from the former governor SP Malik to detach all the teacher and had ordered to sent them to their parent place of posting but the order was violated by the Education Department, particularly the ZEO Mogla, who didn't care about the problem of students who are suffering to shortage of teachers.
They appealed to LG GC Murmu to take action against the officials who didn't comply with the order and demanded that attached teachers be sent to the school so that the study of students go smooth.
