| DPS Udhampur celebrates Annual Sports Day | | |

Udhampur, Dec 10: The school playground of Delhi Public School Uhampur was filled with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere on 10th December 2019 as the school celebrated its Annual Sports Day "DPS Olympics", based on the theme initiated by the Prime Minister of India "FIT INDIA". All the students from classes VI To XII from the school participated in the Sports day events. All students especially the participants were really excited about the event. The program began with a scintillating dance performance by the students.
The celebrations began with a lightening of the sports torch, flag hoisting, march past by all the four houses Sam veda, Yaujur Veda, Atharva Veda and Rig Veda and the Oath taking ceremony. The events filled in the hearts of everyone with the spirit of sportsmanship and unity. The students displayed a wide array of colorful and reverberant events.
They mesmerized the audience with their energetic performances. The Saree drill, Aerobics, Fusion dance, Dangal dance, Martial Arts Extreme, and the other cultural items remained as the main attraction of the mega event. The annual school report was presented by the school Principal Dr Kunal Anand that higlighted the achievement of school in various spheres . The Chief Guest of the occasion was Dr. Piyush Singla (IAS) DC Udhampur, Guest of Honour was Rajiv Pandey (IPS) SSP Udhampur and Pro Vice Chairman of the school Dr.JC Gupta graced the occasion with their presence. |
