RAMBAN, Dec 10: District Legal Services Authority Ramban under the chairmanship of Principal District & Session Judge, Ramban, Kishore Kumar who is also the chairman of DLSA carried out a plantation drive at Gagpat Killa in Chanderkot area of district in collaboration with the Social Forest Department. Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Ramban, Amit Sharma, DFO Social Forestry Mahesh Thakur and Range Officer along with other staff members, PLVs of DLSA and TLSC Ramban besides local populace took part in the drive. During the plantation drive 350 saplings of different species including Silver Oak, Cupressus, Apricot, Jacaranda, Bougainvillea, Amla, Guava etc were planted. On the occasion, Chairman DLSA stressed upon the participants as well as others to plant more trees in their areas to save environment. |
