Advisor Sharma Declares open Chancellor's Trophy-2019

Jammu, Dec 10: The Chancellor's Trophy -2019 organized by the Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu commenced today at the University Sports Stadium, after it was declared open by unfurling the University Flag by Sh. K.K Sharma, Advisor to the Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, in the presence of Prof. Manoj Dhar, Vice Chancellor University of Jammu & large gathering of dignitaries, players, officials, employees & students of the University as well as the people from the civil society.
While addressing the gathering Sh. K.K Sharma, Advisor to the Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir congratulated the organizers for organizing such type of Sports events, which will provide an opportunity to the students of the various Universities of the Jammu and Kashmir to come closer to each other besides showing their Sports talent. Around 500 players in men and women section from different universities of the J&K UT have confirmed their registration who are going to participate in these three games. Arun Malhotra (Son of Soil), Former International Footballer from Jammu was guest of honour on the occasion.
