| JMC Mayor inspect transport yard at Manda | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 11: Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Chander Mohan Gupta conducted a intensive tour of Municipal Transport yard, Manda. He was accompanied by Suneet Jumar Raina Councilor of ward no. 9 to review the measures taken of the earlier directions passed by him to the officers of JMC for maintaining cleanliness in and around Manda. Mayor directed the officers of engineering as well as transport wing especially to get the defunct old, unused & unclaimed vehicles as well as seized materials removed from the complex of Manda immediately & get it auctioned and the revenue so realized after auction may be utilized for the welfare of Jammu city.
Moreover the whole area may be got cleaned on daily basis as large number of morning walkers & general public passes through this site. He gave clear instructions to the officers to develop the transport Yard with eco friendly atmosphere with entry gate having chokidar so that no outsider may enter inside the yard to avoid any untoward incident. |
