Junior Volleyball Championship to commence from Dec 16

Jammu, Dec 11: J&K UT Junior Volleyball Championship for Boys & Girls is being organised by Volleyball Association of J&K under the aegis of J&K Sports Council 16th to 18th Dec 2019 at M.A. Stadium Jammu.
In this 3-day annual Mega event as many as 25 teams in Boys & Girls are participating i.e. Poonch, Rajouri, Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Udhampur, Ramban, Anantnag, Kulgam, Shopian, Pulwama, Srinagar, Ganderbal, Kupwara, Baramulla, Bandipora and Doda drawn from various districts of J&K UT and display their latest techniques/skills of the game for clinching the J&K UT Junior Level Volleyball Boys & Girls Championship. According to Mr. Kuldip Magotra Chief Executive Officer Volleyball Association of J&K two Volleyball courts have been set up for the smooth conduct of the championship at M.A. Indoor Stadium Jammu. In all fifty five matches shall be played under league cum knock out basis during the championships. About 300 players and officials are likely to participate in the 3-day mega event championship. The Association has disclosed that elaborate arrangements of boarding/lodging of teams/officials. The State championship will conclude on 18-12-2019. During the championship selection of State Volleyball team for Boys & Girls shall be made for their participation in the forth coming 46th National Volleyball Championship which is scheduled to be held at Kannappa (AP) from 26th Jan to 31st Jan 2020.
