India emerged as the top team at the 16th International Junior Science Olympiad held at Doha, Qatar from 3 to 11 December. All six Indian students bagged GOLD medals. It is the first time in 16 years that all the gold medals are secured by Indian Students. India also received the trophy for the best team by virtue of highest aggregate score.
Arnav Aditya Singh, Atharv Shivram Mahajan, Krishna Sharma, Mahit Rajesh Gadhiwala, Manpreet Singh, Priyanshu Yadav are the classroom students of ALLEN who brought glory to the nation. The team was accompanied by three leaders: Prof. Vinayak Katdare (Retd., Ruparel College, Mumbai), Prof. Chitra Joshi (Retd., R. Ruia College, Mumbai), Mr Vikrant Ghanekar (HBCSE). There were 322 students from 55 contesting countries and 15 guest/observer teams in this edition of IJSO.

This is the second occasion, after 2014, that India has achieved a full cache of gold medals in IJSO. In 2018, the Indian Physics team received 5 out of 5 golds in IPhO. Krishna Sharma received full marks in the MCQ examination. Both experimental groups achieved full marks in the Biology experiment examination.
