| Transformer at Chikriban area lying defunct last 45 days | | |  Early Times Report
POONCH, Dec 12: People of Chikriban area of tehsil Mandi today held press conference against the lack of basic facilities in the Shrine Hazrat Peer pastoni (RA) at Chikriban.
The Shrine of Hazrat Peer Pastoni ( RA) of Chikriban area of tehsil Mandi is without power for the last 45 DAYS as the transformer lying defunct.People of the area who are facing lot of difficulties due to no light. Meanwhile Urs pak coming round the corner, the devotees were facing difficulties, and a number of times they met with the concerned authority but all in vain.
The local resident Yaseen Shah said that PDD officers have not given proper attention to their problem and they are being forced to block the roads and others, and 150 houses are currently living in the dark, Yasin said"
They appealed to the Chief Engineer PDD Poonch to issue suitable instructions to the concerned officers at Mandi to immediately replace the burnt transformer before urse pak and provide light to the Shrine of chikriban as soon as earliest. When Early time correspondent contacted PDD Xen, he said "We will try to replace transformer as soon as possible" he said. |
