| Kidnapped minor recovered accused held within 48 hours | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Dec 13: Rajouri Police have recovered a kidnapped minor girl and have arrested the accused within 48 hours of the registration of FIR.
Senior Superintendent of Police Rajouri Yougal Manhas said that on 11th of December, a person lodged a complaint at police station Kalakote and complained that her minor granddaughter (name withheld) had gone to her maternal uncle's house at Sonchal and was coming to Broh area on 9th December but didn't return home.
SSP Rajouri added that after the complaint, a case FIR 110/19 under sections 363 RPC was registered against an unknown person.
During investigation it was found that a local man identified as Tariq son of Mohammad Ashraf resident of Broh Kalakote is involved in the crime. Due to strenuous efforts made by police and with the help of technical assistance provided by monitoring cell Rajouri, the said minor victim was recovered from Bari Brahmana Jammu while accused Tariq Hussain has also been arrested. Further investigation is going on into the matter, said SSP. |
