Stay away from drug abuse, play role in nation building : Zorawar

Jammu, Dec 13: Urging the youth to stay away from drug abuse and play an important role in nation building and remain engaged in all sorts of sports activities, Chairman Team Jammu, Zorawar Singh Jamwal today inaugurated high-tech fitted The Evolution Gym at Nagrota-Jagti road.
Owner of the gym, Pritesh Bakshi, has successfully been in the health and fitness market for the last 5 years and achieved a banquet of milestones besides shouldering responsibility in spreading awareness on fitness and good health.
Urging the youth to stay away from drug abuse and play an important role in nation building and remain engaged in all sorts of sports activities, Zorawar Singh Jamwal also appealed to the State Government to raise more infra-structure like open and indoor stadiums and promote sports activities in each and every district of the State so that young generation remains healthy and physically fit.
"All political parties are duty-bound to evolve a mechanism to deal with drug menace because State is virtually slipping into the tight grip of drug mafia. Parents are helplessly watching their teenage children dying slow deaths due to failure of the authorities to crack down on drug mafia.
Team Jammu-an organization of young professionals, social activists, sports persons, Doctors, Journalists, Educationists, Technocrats, retired Army and Police Officers has taken the initiative to get entire Jammu Province out of this menace," said Chairman Team Jammu, Zorawar Singh Jamwal and further pointed out that police department shall also evolve a mechanism to plug in all routes narcotic smuggling to thwart all attempts of Drug mafia, which is hell bent to ruin the lives of younger generation. On the occasion, Pritesh Bakshi informed that The Evolution Gym states an art of technology and world class imported infrastructure including Electronic Tread Mills, Cross trainers and Spin Bikers to monitor the improvement in fitness of enrolled members and schedules their work out routines as per their fitness requirements on day to day basis.
Here emphasis is also laid on weekly self appraisal by the trainees as per the goals set by them in consultation with experienced coaches.
Among others present on the occasion included Er Chandan Datta, Badal Sharma, Manik Sharma, Ishan Anand, Sourav Banathia, Payal Bakshi, Shweta Sharma and Pratima Sharma.
