Shiv Sena to provide affordable, free orthopedic surgery facilities

JAMMU, Dec 14: The Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray Jammu and Kashmir unit, while continuing its social service activities, has made efforts to provide better, affordable and even free orthopedic surgery facilities to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Talking to media persons here today, Shiv Sena J&K president Manish Sahni said that Mumbai's famous orthopedic surgeon, Dr Rahul Sharma and Nero Therapist Dr Kapil Batra has come forward in this work of social service.
Sahni said that Dr Rahul and Kapil Batra have teamed up with the Shiv Sena to provide better medical care to the people of Jammu and Kashmir at less than half of the market price. Sahni said that Dr Rahul is a specialist in joint replacement for shoulder, hip, elbow and spine injuries. Dr Rahul is also a specialist in robotic surgery. Dr Rahul Sharma and Dr Kapil Batra will also provide free treatment for poor and needy patients. Manish Sahni told the media that Dr Rahul Sharma will be available in Jammu on the 15th and 16th of every month and the needy can contact through the Shiv Sena office, Jammu. Sahni said that talks are going on with other famous doctors of the country and soon their services will also be available in UT of Jammu and Kashmir and special care will be taken of poor patients. On this occasion, Dr Rekha , President women wing Meenakshi Chibber, working President Ashwini Gupta, General Secretary Vikas Bakshi, GI Singh, district Youth President Vishal Kohli, Secretary Raj Singh, Sunil Salaria and many leaders and activists were present.
