JAMMU, Dec 14: Violating transfers rules former Chief Education Officer (CEO) Reasi and Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) posted a non-RBA teacher against the RBA post in Middle School Rayala, Panchyat Dub-Khalsa in Pouni zone.
According to sources in the education department, former CEO Reasi Nirmal Kumar Choudhary and ex ZEO Pouni overlooking rules posted a non-RBA teacher against the post of RBA teacher. "There are several other instances of violation of transfers policy, an SSA clerk posted in ZEO office Pouni is allegedly running transfer industry in the zone", they said, adding that overstay and choicest posting is not big things if you pay for it.
There are several genuine teachers, who deserve transfer, running pillar to post for transfers, but those who have a connection with the powerful clerk get timely and choicest posting. "In this case, no former order has been issued, but on verbal directions of former CEO Reasi and the than ZEO Pouni placed the said teacher Government Middle School Rayala without any order", they said, adding that the Deputy Commission Reasi should take action against lawlessness in the school education department.
"Records of teacher posted in Pouni Zone need to check to ascertain a violation of rules", they added.
Manzoor Hussain, Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Pouni said that he would take action if any violation rules had happened. "I'm not aware of it, but will check the record and action will be taken if something illegal found", he added.
