Unemployed over aged KP migrant youth rue official apathy, demand justice

JAMMU, Dec 14: Expressing grave concern about continuous apathy of the government, the Kashmiri Migrant Unemployed Over Aged Youth and Relief Holders Forum has strongly condemned the authorities for their failure in delivering justice to them. While addressing the media, Sunil Fotedar said that over aged youth and relief holders are the first victims of terrorism in the state and are now paying price of their nationalism. He said that educated unemployed over aged youth and relief holders of the uprooted community became the victims of political maneuvering as they are forced to live in hostile environment with no constitutional guarantees for sustenance and survival. He further said that we are the youth whose dreams were shattered after attaining good education and forced to sacrifice prime of our youth, turning over age and old and we are now struggling for survival.
Fotedar said that previous regimes played the politics of deception with them and now the present Union Government too has no humanitarian approach to redress agonizing, alienation and psychological insecurity of the displaced community, which clearly exhibits their conscience of not deliver justice to them.
Issuing temporary ration cards for the last three decades, the government does seems not to be serious in redressing agonizing situation of the displaced community, especially over aged relief holders, he lamented.
