Jammu, Dec 15: Communist Party of India (Marxist) has expressed deep anguish over extending of PSA of Dr. Farooq Abdullah by three months.
The act is highly condemnable keeping in view his old age, health related problems and adverse/harsh climatic conditions in Srinagar.
One fails to understand the logic behind the continuous detention and extending of PSA by three months of Dr. Farooq Abdullah despite being member of present Lok Sabha. The party has urged upon the government to revoke PSA of Dr. Farooq Abdullah and release him without any delay, the press release reads.
The party has appealed the government to release all political leaders and activists detained and lodged in various jails in and outside the state since August 5, 2019. |
