Jammu, Dec 15: A Meeting of All J&K Shri. Sadguru Kabir Sabha was held in the premises of Sad Guru Kabir Sahib Temple, Chak-avtara, Bishnah today which was attended by all the office bearers of Central Executive Body, District Presidents and Block Presidents.
After thorough discussion it was unanimously decided that this year Nirwan Divas of Shri Sad Guru Kabir Sahib will be celebrated on 16th February 2020 at village chak-avtara, Bishnah.
This was stated by the President, All J&K Sad Guru kabir Sabha Sh. F.C Bhagat.
In the meeting the sabha appealed the members to take all necessary measures to cut down the drug menace currently prevailing in all the rural areas and the youth being targeted. The President also requested the block Presidents to keep a close check on this issue and further requested the District Administration to keep in liaison with the local police and various citizen forums/organizations to initiate the process of curtailing the ongoing drug menace.
The Sabha also hailed the statement of the Lt' Governor; that the government is coming up in full support on reservation; may it be reservation in recruitment or promotion. The reserved category has high hopes on the current government & especially after the status of UT, all the central schemes pertaining to the reserved categories shall be applicable to the UT of J&K.
Among others who attended the meeting include Sh. G.R Bhagat (Sr. Vice President), Prof. Garu Ram (Ex-MLA), Dr. Gurdass Bhagat, Sh. Bodh Raj Bhagat, Ex'Engg, Sh. Surinder kumar (Dist. President Reasi) Sh. Raj Kumar (Disst. President Kathua), Sh. Buti Ram Bhagat (Distt. President Samba), Sh. Ashwani Kumar (Block President), Principal Jagdish raj, Om Bhardwaj and others.
