Christian Sports Club registers win & enters in final

Jammu, Jan. 2: Christian Sports Club registered an empathetic win against Department of Road & Safety Club and entered in the final of the ongoing "AOI Christmas T20 Cricket Championship"
In the first Semi final match Christian Sports Club defeated Road & Safety department Club by 4 wickets. Batting first Road & Safety Club scored 126 runs for all wickets in the allotted 17.2 overs with Ishtiaq 27 , Yasir 20 and Pankaj lada 19 runs. From bowling side Kartik took 3 wickets while Rajesh Gill,Jamat Ali, Prithi, Sunny and Rayees took 1 wicket each . In reply Christian Sports Club chased the target in the 17.5 overs by losing 6 wickets thus won the match by 4 wickets. Rayees 38 runs, Majid 27 and Rajesh Gill 21 runs were the main scorers. From bowling side Yasir took 3 wickets, Rompy sharma took 2 wickets while RK Bhat took 1 wicket . Rayees was adjudged as Man of the Match.
Meanwhile, Fr.Kuriakose Chairman Christian Sports Organization Jammu and President of Christian Fellowship Trust Jammu greeted the Christian Sports Club for entering in the final of the Christmas T20 Cricket Championship for the first time. He conveyed his best wishes to the Christian Sports club for best performance in grand finale also.
In the last Quarter Final match Horizon Club defeated Simula Cricket Club by 5 wickets.
Batting first Simula Cricket Club scored 118 runs for the loss of all wickets in the allotted 19.2 overs with Manjeet 36 runs, Satish 17 and Akash Choudhary 12 were the main scorers. From bowling side Sawan and Sukha took 3 wickets each while Imran and Tanmay took 2 wicket each . In reply Horizon Cricket chased the target in 17.2 overs by losing 5 wickets thus won the match by 5 wickets. ,Vivrant 49, Jatin 25 and Surinder 13 runs were the main scorers. From bowling side Ankit took 3 wickets while Akash and Rajat took 1 wicket each. Sukha declared man of the match.
Tomm Fixture : 2nd semifinal among Horizon Cricket Club V/S Lakshmi Cricket Club on 9.30 am and Jammu Angels V/S Jammu Girls eleven at 12.30 pm informed by Org. Secy of the event.
