DM Kishtwar issues prohibitory orders regarding various matters

KISHTWAR, Jan 17: District Magistrate Kishtwar, Angrez Singh Rana today issued prohibitory orders regarding various matters including ban on transportation of bovine, illegal extraction of stones, imposed section 144 CrPC in Chowgan Ground and power projects sites.
DM issued order regarding bovine transportation that no bovine animal such as Cow, Ox, Calf, Buffalo etc. be transported from Kishtwar to other districts except with the prior permission of District Magistrate/Additional District Magistrate, Kishtwar.
Meanwhile, the DM also imposed complete ban on extraction of stones here in and around Zundil and Shalimar Nallah Kishtwar.
DM imposed Section 144 of Criminal Procedure Code in the Chowgan Ground to prevent entry of the vehicles for the safety of public life and prevention of damage to greenery.
He said that the movement of heavy or light vehicles, four-wheelers, three- wheelers, two-wheelers, motorcycles and bicycles and all the ice-cream vending carts has been banned in the Chowgan Ground.
DM also issued strict prohibitory orders at the project sites under Section 144 of CrPC. He said that there are complaints received from Project authorities with regard to law and order problems created by some miscreants at project sites thereby causing hindrance in the smooth execution of works.
He further said that for smooth construction of Power project, Residential Quarters of AFCONS to Pakal Dul Power House site including official site of AFCONS, Tamruchi, Aarzi and Tanji besides Power Project site in Dangdooru and Sourbatti area in Dachhan will remain under Section 144 Cr.P.C till further order.
