| Workshop on awareness of Kayakalp organised | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 17: Workshop on sensitisation about the implementation of Kayakalp / National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) in Government Medical College and its associated Hospitals was held at Conference Hall of Super Speciality Hospital GMC Jammu on 17th January 2020. Dr Sunanda Raina Principal and Dean GMC & AH’s Jammu Chaired the workshop where in all Medical Superintendents and Dy MS along with Nodal Officers and key officers and officials who can play an important role in implementation of Kayakalp / NQAS in GMC & its Associated Hospitals were present in the workshop.
Dr Narinder Butyal State Nodal Officer (Quality Assurance J&K) was the main resource person for the workshop.
After the launch of ‘’Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (SBA)’’ on 2nd October 2014, ‘’Kayakalp’’ initiative was launched by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare on 15th May 2015 to complement these efforts.
