| DPS Nagbani holds interactive session | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 17: Delhi Public School (DPS) Nagbani today organized a workshop on ‘Good Touch Bad Touch’ to make the students aware about good and bad touch and to teach them what steps to take if they are in a risky situation.
The session started with activity on feeling and emotions. Children mentioned different emotions and their meaning. Word ‘Touch’ was introduced with the help of role play. Children were asked to name different types of touch.
After discussion with the children relation of feel and touch was discussed. In the session, students were made aware of various types of good and bad touches with the help of examples.
Through a video presentation they were able to teach about the parts of the body which should not be touched by outsiders or without one’s permission. It also enlightened them on how to deal with situations where in they encounter, embarrassing touches or become victim of bad touch. Demonstration showed the young participants on how to handle such bad situations and to whom to report about the crime.
The workshop concluded with the address of the Principal of the school R.K. Verma who said that educating students on the increasing rate of sexual abuse, bullying and cybercrimes has become the need of the hour.
