Dy Mayor JMC inaugurates different works in W No 1

Jammu, Jan 18: Advocate Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor inaugurated the platform/Thada around peepal tree at Tawi (Dhountly) Panjthirthi in Ward No 1.
It was an old requirement of the locals of Ward No. 1 as locals needed a proper platform around the peepal tree for worshipping the sacred tree. After the direction of the Deputy Mayor, developmental work was approved and the total amount of rupees 2.48 lacs was approved in which the platform and shed was constructed around the tree. Deputy Mayor also laid the foundation stone for the development of drain and other allied works in ward no. 1. The amount approved for the above mentioned work is 3.62 lakhs. During the inauguration along with Deputy Mayor, Er. Ashok Sharma (AEE JMC), Er. R. K. Koul (JE JMC), concerned contractor, Gulshan (Sanitary Supervisor), Rajneesh Sharma (Sanitary Supervisor), and prominent members of ward no. 1 including, Shubh Lata Sharma, Anuradha Sharma, Sunita Wazir, Gopal, Rama, and many other members of ward no. 1 were also present. The locals praised the work done and thanked the Deputy Mayor and JMC for listening to the demands of the locals and taking quick action against them.
