1/18/2020 9:46:33 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Jan 18: A deputation of AIBCU called on the Chairman of National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC) Dr Bhagwan Lal Sahni here at Jammu and put forth the charter of demands.
The AIBCU urged that view of the abrogation of art 370 and 35-A there must be a natural the flow of justice.
The AIBCU demanded implementation of Mandal Report in the newly carved union territory of JK state, it was emphasized that now in the absence of Article 370, there is no need of any man-made survey but grant 27 percent reservation on the basis of accepted census of 1931 by the Supreme Court which granted 27 percent reservation throughout the country and in all the states. Any OBC survey based on an economical survey of 2011 is fraudulent and would not be acceptable in any way to JK OBC people.
Reorganization of the state commission for backward classes with its chairman and all members from the OBC communities on the pattern NCBC. There must be entry of national commission for backward classes in the union territory of Jammu Kashmir to have its domination on the state commission for backward classes.
The Chairman was also made aware of the statements being made by the Prime Minister, Home Minster Amit Shah and MoS of PMO office Dr Jatinder Singh that “all central rules have been implemented in the Jammu Kashmir union territory” which does match with the rules framed so far for the state OBCs.
The Chairman NCBC gave a patient hearing and assured for early redressal of all the problems regarding OBC reservations and allied matters.
The deputation was lead by Prof Kalidass, General Secretary AIBCU was accompanied by Principal Anchal Singh, Khursheed Ahmed Ahanger, Mohd Anief, Principal Darshan Mehra, Brij Mehra, Lecturer Lal Chand, Jagdish Panday, Sonia Verma and Bangotra (Retd CEO).
