Jammu, Jan 18: Statue of “Data Ranpat Dev Ji” installed by “Data Ranpat Dev development committee” Birpur was unveiled by Th. Gulchain Singh Charak, Former Minister & President Dogra Sadar Sabha in the presence of Swaran Singh Charak, President, Satpal Sadhotra Gen. Secretary, the members of the committee and a large number of devotees Chanting Data Ranpat Dev Ji ki Jai at Data Talab Birpur Jammu.
Speaking on the occasion Swaran Singh Charak President explained in detail about the different programmes being organized by Data Dev Committee which included daily programmes of Arti and Pooja in all the temples, half yearly congregation in which lakhs of devotees from all over the northern India participate to take blessings of Data Dev Ji. He also gave detail about the developmental activities being carried out at all these shrines. Thereafter, in connection with the starting of “Mahavishnu Yajna” from 12th Feb 2020 at Birpur, a hawan was performed and after proper Pooja Archana Yajna Flag was hoisted by Th. G S Charak.
