| Nowshera resident decry improper distribution of PMUY cylinders | | |  Early Times Report
Nowshera, Jan 18: Resident of Nowshera villages here have staged a protest demonstration against a private Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinder distribution agency alleging improper distribution of cylinders meant under Pradhan Mantri Ujwala Yojna.
Protesters headed by Block Development Council Chairman, Neena Sharma assembled outside Fareed Gas Agency in Nowshera and raised slogans.
They alleged that the concerned gas agency is not distributing cylinders under PMUY as per merits and cylinders are even being sent to peripheral areas.
They demanded a fair probe into the matter to regulate proper distribution of cylinders.
They alleged that PMUY is a noble effort of Government of India aimed towards upliftment of village women but some private agencies are hell bent to deprived actual beneficiarues of their rights.
The government has approved a tunnel at Razdan pass to make it an all weather road.
