Mendhar, Jan 19: Sub divisional Magistrate (SDM) Mendhar Dr Sahil Jandial today inaugurated 3-day Pulse Polio Immunization Campaign (PPIC) for 0-5 years age group children sub District Hospital Mendhar.
According to press release, the progammre was attended by Tehsildar Dr Vikram Kumar Block Medical Officer (BMO) Mendhar Dr Parvaiz Ahmed khan and other functionaries of the Health Department. The BMO informed SDM that 23823 children between 0-5 years age group will be covered under 1st phase of PPI in the Tehsil from January 19, 2020.
He also revealed that to make the PPI campaign successful 120 Booths have been set up in the entire tehsil for the purpose while as 504 Medical, Para-Medical Staff, ASHA’s, Supervisor, ISM Department and ICDS Department have been deployed to administer the oral PPI doses to the targeted children in the entire tehsil. |
