BJP KDD observes Holocaust day

JAMMU, Jan 19: BJP Kashmir Displaced District under the presidentship of T N Bhat held an impressive programme today to commemorate Holocaust day at Muthi Migrant Camp Jammu which was attended by inmates of Muthi migrant camp, large number of people from all walks of life , booth Presidents
Durga Mandal President along with its office bearers , representatives of BJP Kashmir Displaced District .
The holocaust day was organised to make the people aware about the fatefull night of 19th January 1990, which resulted in murder and mayhem of KP community by armed insurgents who killed innocent people of the community and others were forced to.leave their homes and hearths besides a series of atroscities were committed on them . The speakers expressed their firm resolve and conviction for unity and highlighted in depth the plight of KPs in exile . they further appealed Government of India and Lt Governor of J&K UT to resolve the basic issues of the community on humanitarian grounds.Speakers with one voice stressed for one place settlement of the community living in exile for last more than thirty years back in valley with honour and dignity as well as explained in depth the importance of this historic day . Further great tributes were paid to the martyrs of the community who sacrificed their lives for the cause of the motherland during the period . In the end a protest rally was taken out by the congregation.
