Jammu, Jan 19: The members of Vision Kashmir ( An organization of up rooted Kashmiri Hindu community) in a meeting observes 2 min silence and lit candles as a mark of respect to those brave souls of Kashmiri Hindu community who were massacred by the fundamentalists. As per press release convener of the organization Sunil Fotedar while paying tribute to the martyrs said that wounds from the violent turmoil and atrocities that uprooted peace loving minority community out of their homes are still fresh even after 30 years of their exile.
He further said that due to the continuous apathy of the successive governments both at state and centre, the uprooted community is still traversing through a dark tunnel of uncertainty. He lamented that forced exodus has resulted into the economic ruin of the peace loving uprooted community, who continue to suffer the humiliation and ignominy as far their exiled life is concerned. Vision Kashmir earnestly appeals to the honorable LT Governor UT of JK to constitute sub committee to look into their plight and mitigate the grievances of the community in exile.. Others who spoke on the occasion include Ramesh Sopori, VK Razdan, Sanjay Chowgami, Sanjay Zutshi, Sanjay Jalali and others, the release added.
