Puneesh sets benchmark in speed skating, wins gold, silver at 57th RSFI Nationals

JAMMU, Jan 20: Setting up benchmark for the upcoming players, Punish Puri of J&K UT sends shock waves among skating lovers at the Vishakapatnam Skating Rink by showing extraordinary grit and agility of highest class to win a gold and silver medal at the entry level of the speed skating game. Participating for the first time in the nationals, he excelled in 800 meters and 500 meters+D races of under-9 category by winning gold and silver respectively. Player with amazing capabilities, the young toddler from Jammu, Puneesh never misses an opportunity to learn skills of the game and hone his talent to achieve perfection. He shined at the national level by getting groomed under the aegis of none other than President J&K Rolling Skating Association, G.S Khurmi, who also witnessed the game of little champion at Vizag in Andhra Pradesh. Thrilled by the moves of Puneesh, G.S Khurmi applauded him and wished him good luck for his upcoming championships. Puneesh took his training sessions both at M.A Stadium Skating Rink and Shiva Roller Skating Rink Peerkho.
