Sunrise Public School organises health camp

Jammu, Jan 20: A health camp was organized by Sunrise Public School a unit of Sunrise Educational Trust (free Education) at Kabir Nagar Poonch House Talab Tillo Jammu. The main motive of the health and awareness camp was hygiene, child abuse and cleanliness for slum children and their families. Rajesh Sharma founder trustee explained about the functioning of school and said we have started this school in 2012 with 7 boys and girls in total and now we have strength of 220 students. Our school is up to primary. We are providing free uniforms free education free books, stationeries and refreshment to the weaker section of the society without any cast and creed. Manpreet kour founder director of Sunrise Public School also encourage families to educate their children. She said now we are planning to go upto 12th class and will provide free lodging and boarding .After 12th students can go for other professional courses. At the same time we are planning to open Sunrise Senior Citizen Home to serve the senior citizens. Vishal Bagotra General Physician examined almost 80 children and 24 families recommend treatment also. Neelam Bagotra (MLC) of the Ward 40 was also present .She also told about the child labour and Child abuse to the families and promotes girl child education also, and said we should focus to encourage girl child for education.
