District Jr., Sr. Yoga competition to be held on 22, 23 Jan

JAMMU, Jan 20: Yoga Society Jammu and Kashmir of Patanjali Yogpeeth in association with different yoga bodies falling under Indian Yoga Association is going to organize a mega district level yoga competition on 22 and 23 Jan 2020 at Guru Gibing Singh Hr Secondary School Jammu.
The competition will be held from 11 am onwards. Participants from universities, colleges, schools and private clubs of Jammu district are invited for yoga competition. Participants in the age group of 9-14 years fall under junior category and candidates from 15-25 comes under senior zone. Both Boys and Girls can participate individually as well as in group form with minimum strength of two to maximum six in group participation.
Similar district level event shall be held in other districts too in upcoming weeks. Out station Civil clubs / Teams , participants from outside Jammu Municipal limit shall be paid actual too & fro bus fare along with one coach.Competition will be played on knock out basis. Participants are requested to come in proper comfortable yoga dress and should report at the above said venue at least one hour before the start of the competition. Decisions of the Judgment committee are subjected to be final. All the participants are requested to report in the venue on 22rd January at 10 am sharp for registration. For age proof, the participant should carry Municipal Birth certificate or Aadhar in original only. All participants will be given a participation certificate and the winner from all categories from individual junior and senior group, group participation from junior and senior group with boys and girls category separately shall be invited for state level competition, where they will be awarded state medals and certificates .
