| Duggar Manch organises books releases functions | | | Early times Report
Jammu, Jan 20: Dugger Manch organised a book release function at KL Saihgal Jammu where two books “Musings From My Atic” written by Darsan Darsi & Vartmaan Da Chitar written by Mohan Singh, translated by Sunita Badwal. Both books were translated in Dogri And Hindi languages decently by Sunita Badwal.
Mohan Singh head of Dugger Manch, while giving opening remarks said that dugger manch is continuing its efforts for promoting local language base especially dogri language through conducting various literary activities including books release events. Speaking on the occasion the translator shared her motive of bridging two languages multiplying readership. Ashok Angurana was the chief guest of the event who appreciated the efforts of translator and shared his views . The event was presided over by I D Soni , commissioner BS&G. He expressed happiness over the excellent work done by sunita badwal and shared his literary life experience audience. Two papers based on this release were presented by mrs.amita mehta and Dr.Giyan singh gathered much appreciations Shivdev Sushil extended vote of thanks. A galaxy of writers & poets were present in the hall. |
