Jammu, Jan 20: The closing ceremony of 5 days Basic Training Course of Civil Defence held at Gandhi Nagar Jammu, which was organized by Civil Defence, Jammu under the guidance of Muneer Ahmed Khan, IPS, Additional Director General of Police Homeguards/Civil Defence & UTDRF J&K-Jammu, Vikas Gupta, JKPS, SSP I/C DIG, HG/CD & UTDRF Jammu and under the supervision of Dy.SP Shashi Thakur, Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu. During 05 days Basic Training, the knowledge of First Aid, CPR, Chocking, Emergency methods of rescue, Fire man lift, and fire fighting etc were given by the Civil Defence Instructors. While speaking on the occasion, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu (Dy.SP), Shashi Thakur, Sh. Paramjit Kumar, Chief Warden & Thakur Ranjit Singh, Dy. Chief Warden, R. Vijay Magotra, Divisional Warden and Dharan Kutty highlighted the role of Civil Defence. |
