JAMMU, Jan 20: In the interest of administration, the General Administration Department, J&K Govt has ordered transfer and postings of 7 KAS officers with immediate effect.
Naresh Kumar, KAS, Deputy Secretary to the Government, PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Department, is transferred and posted as Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Ramnagar, against an available vacancy. He shall also hold the additional charge of the post of Sub- Registrar, Ramnagar, till further orders.
Vivek Modi, KAS, Deputy Secretary to the Government, Tribal Affairs Department, is transferred and posted as Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Basantgarh, against an available vacancy. He shall also hold the additional charge of the post.
Dr Zahoor Ahmad Raina, KAS, Deputy Secretary to the Government, Public Works (R&B) Department, is transferred and posted as Personnel Officer in the office of Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, J&K, against an available vacancy. Shahid Mehmood, KAS, Deputy Director, Employment (Central), J&K, is transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to the Government, Public Works (R&B) Department.
Mohammad Rashid, KAS, awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, is posted as Deputy Director, Employment (Central), J&K.
Meanwhile, Jaffar Hussain Sheikh, Jr. KAS, and Dr Farukh Nasir Paul, Jr. KAS, were ordered to swap their present places of postings.
Jaffar Hussain Sheikh, Jr. KAS, Under Secretary in the office of Chief Secretary, is transferred and posted as Under Secretary in the Technical Education Department (Skill Development Mission) vice Dr Farukh Nasir Paul, Jr. KAS, who has been transferred and posted as Under Secretary in the office of Chief Secretary.
