| Locals Decry negligence of MC, R&B in Sunderbani | | |  Ankit kessar

Sunderbani, Jan 21: Residents of ward number 13 of Sunderbani town in Rajouri district are decrying negligence of Public Works Department (Roads and Buildings) and Municipal committee Sunderbani.
Residents of Ward 13 said that since last years together, the condition of main road in their area is worst since years and concerned authorities are acting as mute spectator.
They added that municipal committee Rajouri is acting as mute spectator towards it claiming that Public Works Department is looking after the road whereas the PWD is claiming that municipal is also looking after the road.
They added that road is stuck between both the agencies and is filled with mud putting everyone is severe crisis.
They appealed a probe against Municipal committee Sunderbani and Public Works Department.
Executive Officer Municipal Committee Sunderbani, Kasturi Lal said that their department is constructing drains and rest condition is being taken care by PWD.
Executive Engineer of PWD, Mohammad Parvez said that road will be blacktopped in March. |
