| IGP Jammu visit Kathua, interacts with students | | |  Early Times Report
Kathua, Jan 21: Mukesh Singh, Inspector General of Police Jammu Zone visited at District Police Lines, Kathua and interacted. The IPG interacted with around 150 students along with caretakers from different villages/schools of District Kathua belonging to poor and underprivileged families of the remote area as well as youth belonging to J&K Police Martyr families. IGP Jammu flagged off Bharat Darshan Tour under Civic Action Programme (CAP). J&K Police under this initiative facilitated the children belonging to economically weaker section not only to visit other parts of India but to have an exposure that will benefit them to achieve goals in their life. The IGP was accompanied by Shridhar Patil, SSP Kathua and other officers of District
Kathua were also present during the flagged off ceremony. Besides, IGP Jammu reviewed security arrangements in view of Republic Day 2020 and chaired meeting with District territorial officers and other security agencies. The IGP issued necessary directions to all the officers to remain extra vigilant to avert any untoward incident.
