5 main reasons why things don’t work for us?
Diksha Dogra1/21/2020 11:14:10 PM
We all have one life and we all see dreams but only few people get chance to chase those dreams. There are many reasons that why things don’t work for us. Listed few of them:
Procrastination: As we grow, we focus on dreams, convert them into goals and some of us start writing dairies too. When we follow them, we got stuck somewhere because of any xyz reason and we stop there. We procrastinate and tell ourselves I will start tomorrow and in most of the cases tomorrow never arrives. We keep on saying this and time move on. During this all Procrastination cycle, our circumstances make their hold so strong in our lives that we start feeling like we have done nothing and time has gone. Somewhere we know it’s just because of us but still at that point too instead of starting it again, we keep on saying this. Procrastination can kill all the opportunities we have or about to have.
Lack of Persistence: We usually stop working on things when we encounter small failures. Edison has tried for more than 10,000 times to get success in his experiment which means more than 10,000 failures. Also, Henry Ford when his team has lost all the hope, he still continued with his plan and we know his story of success. Their secret was nothing but persistence. Our problem is we lose hope immediately after first defeat. We don’t even think to try again. Our thinking is limited, we think if we got stuck, we are failing, we are dead. The moment you will think beyond this, you will be successful. Success is just a few steps away from those who are persistent.
Outside Energy: We being human beingsget influenced bythe peopleand social media. My friend, nobody is posting their failures on social media. Nobody will tell you what they have lost and we get influenced by their way of living and their posts etc. And after all this, we start sharing things out to show off people that you are also in the same race. Outside energy has got that power which can break you. While letting people know our plans without getting it done, we are just telling the outside energy come and break me and my dreams. Don’t do this. Let your success make the noise not your plans.
Fear of Criticism: Most people kill their dreams because of the fear of criticism. What people will say if I will do this?? This question has got big power which can kill dreams. We often get scared by this thought that what people will say, that’s the reason we have only 5% of successful people in this world and 95% are still busy in thinking what people will say. Now my question here is till how long?? Till how long you want to wait for them? It’s your dreams, your goals, your desire not theirs. How they can understand the pain of not chasing dream when it’s you not those people who have seen that.
Comfort Zone: The problem of this generation is that they don’t want to come out of their comfort zone. They are happy at their place. When someone will ask them why you are still here then they will start cribbing. As per them nothing is working fine. But the truth is they are not ready to move ahead in their life. They are not ready to take stress and pressure. They need everything but want to do nothing and the truth is nothing comes easy. We need to get out of our comfort zone and show people our true potential.
“Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly.”
