MPDA holds meeting, seeks LG’s attention towards facelift of Transport Ngr

JAMMU, Jan 21: A review meeting of Motor Parts Dealers Association (MPDA) Jammu regarding the overall condition of Transport Nagar was held here today.
The meeting was convened under the chairmanship of Rajinder P Kakkar, president MPDA Transport Nagar, Narwal Jammu.
In the meeting, it’s observed by all the members of association that government is not serious with regard to maintenance of Transport Nagar though team MPDA approached almost all concerned authorities like JDA, JMC, PHE, UEED & PDD but nothing has been done so far.
It was discussed that while series of threadbare meetings were held with VC JDA Jammu wherein he told our team that he has submitted an estimate worth Rs 22 crores to government for over all development of Transport Nagar but all minutes of meeting are hold up. All the members of MPDA decided to make a final request to Lt Governor J&K UT to visit Transport Nagar for an on the spot assessment along with head of the concerned departments and issue time bound directions. A large gathering of MPDA members attended the meeting besides SS Bhau, Satish Kumar, Raj Pal Verma, Jaswinder Singh, Balbir Singh, Sham Parshad, Raman Gupta and Sanjay Dogra.
