Prabhat Gaurav excels in Tata Mumbai Marathon 2020

Jammu, Jan 22: Tata Mumbai Marathon 17 th Edition was held on 19th January ,2020. About 50,000 participants took part in this mega event.
The event was divided into three parts 10K, 21K and 42 K. Around 9600 people participated in the full marathon and about 14 participants took part from Jammu. It is pertinent to mention that Prabhat Singh, IPS, retd. SSP got silver medal in his category of 65 plus years by finishing in 4.04.25 hours with this he got qualified for Boston Marathon, a great event of the world.
Gaurav Gupta secretary CCI, became the only bare foot runner of J&K, UT by running full marathon and finishing it in 6.04.06 hours.
Rajesh Padha the only runner from J&K to run TMM for the seventh time in a row, got 12th rank in his category of 60 plus years and finishing in 4.16.26 hours. This was his 75th event and 75th medal.
The other participants who completed the event successfully are : DYSP J&K Police Surinder Choudhary in 5.0.29 hrs, Satbir Singh 4.59.15 hrs, Venugopal 5.26 hrs, VIkram Sahi from Jammu University 5.16.43 hrs, Vijay Sharma 3.57.32 hrs, Abhishek Gupta 3.58.16 hrs, Rahul Sharma 4.56.39 hrs. Abhishek Gautam 4.06 hrs. Those who finished the half marathon from Jammu are Virender Sharma 1.48.25 hrs and Atul Sharma 2.17 hrs.
The route, hydration and management was excellent. Lastly its worth mentioning that the crowd of Mumbai has always been great source of motivation and inspiration.
