| DC flags off BBBP rally of ASHA, Anganwari workers | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, Jan 23: Deputy Commissioner, O P Bhagat today flagged off a rally cum door to door campaign of ASHA Workers and Anganwadi Workers under Beti Bacho Beti Padhao programme from DC Office Complex as part of week long campaign.
District Programme Officer ICDS, Ritu Mahajan, District Social Welfare Officer, Abdul Raheem, Chief Education Officer, District Planning Education Officer, Child Development Project Officer and Tehsil Social Welfare Officer Kathua were also present on the occasion.
DDC said that the aim of the campaign is to sensitize the public in general regarding declining girl child sex ratio and various initiatives taken by State and Central Governemnt in the shape of Ladli Beti Scheme, State Marriage Assistance Scheme and various Pension related schemes. |
