RAMBAN, Jan 24: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Ramban Nazim Zai Khan checking squad lead by ACR, Ramban, Dhirendra Sharma comprising AD, FCS&CA, Abdul Rashid, Food Safety Officer, Balbir Singh, Khilaf Warzi officer, Jameel Ahmed Mir, Sub Inspector, Firdous Ahmed besides officers and officials of concerned departments conducted market checking in Ramban town. The team also checked the rates of Mutton, Chicken, Fruits, Vegetables, Milk and other eatables besides inspecting the quality of these commodities.
An amount of Rs. 3700 as fine was recovered from erring traders. Meantime, officers warned the unscrupulous traders to desist from using unfair trade practices, overcharging and stressed for maintaining sanitation and display of rate list and stickers. |
