Nowshera, Jan 26: A government officer of the rank of Executive Magistrate was on Sunday found violating decorum of national anthem as he kept moving here and there while anthem was being played.
71st Republic Day was on Sunday celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm across Rajouri district with event was held at Nowshera also where Additional Deputy Commissioner Nowshera unfurled the national flag.
Soon after this, when national anthem was being played, Naib Tehsildar Mukhtair Ahmed kept roaming here and there in clear violation of national anthem decorum. The act of Executive Magistrate had resulted resentment among all the participants who have demanded action against the said officer.
Sukhdev Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Nowshera when contacted said that he will take action against the officer. "It is very disgusting, action as per rule will be taken against the officer, disrespecting nation anthem", he added.
