NHM employees’ delegation meets Advisor Bhatnagar

JAMMU, Jan 28: A deputation of All JK NHM president headed by its Rohit Seth and state media incharge of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh J&K met with Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar, Advisor to Lieutenant Governor J&K UT.
Seth briefed the Advisor about the long pending demands of the NHM employees working in the state . The deputation congratulated Bhatnagar for becoming advisor to Lieutenant Governor and hoped that he would concede all the long pending demands of NHM employees a statement issued here read . During the half hour meeting with advisor , the deputation apprised the Advisor about various problems and demands of NHM employees and also discussed the issue of regulation. The deputation submitted a charter of demands to the advisor which includes regularization of all categories of NHM employees with wage grade similar to their counter parts in the health departments, enhancement of salary between the NHM staff of UT of Jammu & Kashmir to make it as par with NHM Staff of Delhi, Haryana, grant of leave benefits as per agreement arrived at and on the analogy of the states of Orissa and Tripura, release of salary of the NHM Staff for the agitation/termination period as agreed upon during negotiations, and assured by the then Governor Jammu & Kashmir Stat Satya Pal Malik.
The Advisor gave a patient hearing to the demands put forth by the NHM delegation and assured them that he will try to resolve this issues.
