Early Times Report

Jammu, Jan 28: Influenced by the country’s first ever unique, honest and people friendly governance model of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Delhi based on ‘Education, Healthcare, Women welfare and other day to day basic needs, large number of Maulana Azad Memorial College Jammu students joined AAP with formation of their college unit under the banner of its students’ wing namely ‘Chattar Yua Sangarsh Samiti-CYSS’ today in a party function at Jammu Press Club in presence of its senior faces, revealed in its press release circulated to the media.
As per the release, party’s young face Amit Kumar Langar announced the names and posts of the students who constitute M.A.M. college unit of CYSS-Shubam Sharma (President) Sushant Kumar (Vice- President) and Akash Lunia (Vice-President), Akash Dogra (Gen. Secretary) and Sahil Bhagat (Secretary) and Arun Chowdhary (Cashier).
Addressing the college students, S. Deep Singh, founder member and National Council Member-AAP expressed that during past 5 years, facing all odds posed by BJP’s central government and the LG in Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal has proved that government supported free & quality education & healthcare can only provide the required base to the nation. Capital Delhi is the only place in the country where people often talk of basic facilities provided by the Kejriwal govt and to us, such a credible governance model is in fact need of every state including J&K for which our youth have to perform a responsible role, he added.
While welcoming the students at party forum, senior party leader Ram Singh Chouhan focused on the ongoing countrywide unrest in the name anti-constitutional CAA and unemployment related frustration among the youth and stressed upon the visionary & disciplined advancement of youth. Leaders of traditional political parties often loudly talk of ‘Yuva-Desh’ but fail to address the meaningful care of our youth, he added.
